The DCC-friendly train decoder is a product manufactured by KATO that can be easily installed on DCC-friendly (N/HO) electric trains, passenger cars, and diesel railcars. FL12 can control the headlights/taillights of the leading car of a DCC-friendly train. ● FL12 decoder for electric train-type leading cars - Transponding (position detection) function - Function circuits: 2 systems (up to 125mA each) - Lights automatically switch according to the direction of travel. - Head/taillight illumination will be switched depending on the direction in which the board is inserted (insert it in the opposite direction for the rear car of the train) - Remove the underfloor equipment, take out the light-off switch, and insert the decoder in the same position.
